As part of Promised two Workshops took place on June 6th and 7th 2022, at Nicosia and Limassol respectively, for the archaeologists and conservators of the Department of Antiquities. The workshop titled “Archaeological Science Methods in the Field and in the Laboratory: What, How, and Why”, aimed at sharing knowledge and methods from the fileds of archaeobotany, archaeozoology and human osteology of Cyprus together with case studies concerning glass, pottery and metal. The Promised team joined several STARC members to ensure a more holistic presentation of current methods in the archaeological sciences. The STARC team members were: Dr Evi Margaritis (leader of WP4 and organiser of the Workshop), Prof. Thilo Rehren,Dr Efthymia Nikita, Dr Maria Dikomitou-Eliadou, Dr Sorin Hermon, Dr Kirsi Lorentz, Dr George Artopoulos, Ms Marissia Deligiorgi, Dr Angelos Hadjikoumis, and Dr Artemios Oikonomou.
